Sarod by Avi

The Sarod; one of the most captivating stringed instruments from India. It is known for its deep, heavy, introspective sounds. The origins of the sarod date back almost 15 centuries to the Persian rabab. Sarod, which means ‘beautiful melody’ in Farsi, came into its present form about 450 years ago. 

With a strong foundation in Indian classical music, Avi's musicality has also been influenced by various genres and art forms. He creates a fresh sound with a blend of ancient flavours. His music is known for highly intuitive melodies combined with refined technique, showcasing his talent and virtuosity. He can instantly capture the mood of the moment and take you into his own world. 

Pale Puma

Pale Puma is the solo project of Amsterdam-based singer/songwriter/guitarist Django Duijns. Inspired by Deerhunter, The Stone Roses and The Left banke, Pale Puma makes dreamy pop songs with shoegazey and noirpop guitar lines. The renowned Dutch label Excelsior Recordings released its debut album in 2023: ‘’Haunted by dreams that were never my own‘’.
