From the moment humans looked at the stars, we were wrong. We thought stars were holes in a big dome, assumed the Earth was the centre of the universe and calculated that the universe would shrink in the future. Now we know that stars are giant nuclear reactors, that we are not at the centre at all and that a mysterious force is making the universe expand faster and faster.
