Where can I view or update my membership information?
You can view or change all of your membership information in your Mijn ARTIS account. If you don’t have a Mijn ARTIS account yet, you can register through the link below.
How can I pay my membership fee?
You can take out a new membership either through your Mijn ARTIS account or at the ticket office. If you are renewing your existing membership, the fee will be debited four weeks before the start of the new year if you originally paid by direct debit. However, if you did not pay by direct debit, then you will receive a letter containing payment information six weeks before the renewal date. You can then pay for the renewal through your Mijn ARTIS account or at the ticket office.
How do I get a new membership card?
After taking out a new membership, you will receive your card at your home address within two weeks. You can also have your card printed at the ticket office during your first visit as a member. When you renew your membership, your current card remains active and valid; you will not receive a new card. If you mislay or lose your card, you can purchase a new one for €5.00 at the ticket office.
Can I get a refund on my ticket if I take out a new membership?
Yes, this is definitely possible! If you take out a new membership within three weeks of your visit, the cost of the tickets will be settled with the cost of your membership. Tickets purchased at the ticket office can be converted into a membership there. When you purchase tickets online, you receive an e-mail with a discount code a few days after your visit. This enables you to take out the membership online, minus the cost of the tickets.
How do the Bring-a-Friend coupons work?
ARTIS members receive four Bring-a-Friend coupons per household per year. You will need to submit two coupons for an adult (13+ years old), and one coupon for a child (3-12 years old). The coupons can be scanned at the gate, including with your smartphone or tablet. You can find your Bring-a-Friend coupons in Mijn ARTIS (My ARTIS). Starting March 1, 2025, members will receive three coupons per year. These coupons allow three guests to visit all three locations. From that point on, it will no longer be necessary to use two coupons for one adult. Beginning in 2025, coupons will be valid for one year. Any unused coupons from previous years may still be used in 2025.
Why does ARTIS now offer only one membership?
Starting March 1, 2025, ARTIS will introduce a renewed membership: one complete package. This membership grants unlimited access to ARTIS Zoo, ARTIS-Micropia, and ARTIS-Groote Museum. Experience nature in all its facets – from the tiniest microbes to the interconnectedness of all life.
As of March 1, 2025, membership prices will also change. Existing members will pay the new rate upon their next renewal.
