Education in ARTIS
ARTIS offers schools a unique opportunity to experience nature: from the tiniest organisms in ARTIS-Micropia to the vastness of space in the ARTIS-Planetarium, and everything in between in the ARTIS-Park. Through interactive lessons, live shows, and worksheets, students explore the balance and complexity of nature. In this way, ARTIS also inspires care for our planet through education.

The time slot I want to book isn’t showing, what could be the reason?
Is the desired time slot not visible? Unfortunately, that means it’s fully booked. Please note: educational visits are not available on weekends, public holidays, and during school holidays in the North region.
Can I pay with a Culture Card?
Yes, you can! When booking, enter the school's CJP number in the additional invoice information. On the day of your visit, inform the ARTIS staff at check-in that you wish to pay via a CJP web order.
Can I request a different lesson than the ones offered?
A customized lesson is an option. When selecting this, you will be contacted to discuss the lesson topic. Additionally, the ‘own materials’ option is available if the standard lesson materials are not suitable.
How can I modify my reservation?
