Donating tax-free
You can support ARTIS in a tax-effective way. Your entire donation will then benefit nature projects, educational programmes and heritage preservation at ARTIS.
What is tax-free donation?
Tax-free donation means that you can deduct your donation from your taxable income, which leaves you with a higher net income. This applies to both one-off and recurring donations, with recurring donations being fully deductible over a minimum of five years. You can decide how often and how much to donate.
ARTIS is a cultural ANBI (public benefit organisation)
ARTIS is designated as a cultural ANBI (public benefit organisation). This means that you may even multiply your donation by 1.25, enabling you to deduct more than you actually donated. This applies both to one-off and recurring donations, up to a maximum of €5,000 per year. Donations above this amount are still deductible, but without an additional increase.
One-off Donation .
You can also make a one-off donation and benefit from a tax deduction. One-off donations are deductible above a threshold of 1% of your taxable income. Recurring donations often provide an even greater tax advantage.
Recurring donation
If you make recurring donations over a period of five years or more, you can do so completely tax-free. For more information about tax deduction, visit belastingdienst.nl or schenkservice.nl
Donations can be easily documented in a donation agreement and automatically debited. This is possible for amounts starting from €150. Simply send your completed and signed form to ARTIS, Fundraising Department, Reply Number 4596, 1000 RA Amsterdam. Please include a copy of a valid ID.
